Key results from the report include:
- Total GDP increased from £5.01bn to £5.35bn
- Increase in GDP of 10.3%, or 3.4% in real terms
- Decrease in GNP of 2.6%, or 8.7% in real terms
- eGaming, Construction, and Other Professional Services were the most significant factors in this increase in GDP
- Just over half the sectors in the economy (14) have experienced growth
- Insurance continues to be the largest sector of the Island′s economy, accounting for 18.2% of the economy, with eGaming contributing 15.7%
- Accounting for 61.1% of the Island′s economy, company income continues to be the main driver of the Island′s economy. Personal incomes represent 30.4% of the Island′s economy
